Year-end tax preparation, business and individual:
We provide advisory services on both the individual and business level to plan for the year ahead. We will prepare your year-end taxes, or work with your chosen tax professional if you already have one, ensuring that you have everything needed to complete your tax return and find all the deductions for which you would qualify. Having a perfect set of books makes tax time much easier, and that is what we want to achieve for you and your business.
Bookkeeping maintenance at your chosen frequency:
Correctly categorizing your transactions as they occur can directly save you money at tax time. Having all money in and out of your business accurately labeled will give you visibility into specifically where your money is coming from and where it is going. You can then make decisions for the future of your business with all the information you would need. We offer monthly, bi-weekly, and weekly options depending on your needs.
Job Costing:
When your business earns income by projects or jobs, you’ll need to understand the exact costs assigned to each project. We can help you get a process put together to analyze your data at this level so you can know for sure how profitable each job is and how much you need to earn to grow your business.
QuickBooks Online Set-up:
Get your QuickBooks Online file set up quickly and correctly, with a customized chart of accounts and fully connected bank accounts. You’ll have complete visibility and access at all times, and I’ll make sure you have an accurate picture of your business finances.
Cash Flow Forecasting:
We can provide analysis showing how many days cash on hand your business has, what your breakeven point is, and create a 6 month forecast based on projected revenue and spending.
Bank Reconciliation:
We will balance all bank and credit card accounts so you always have an accurate balance and can plan spending accordingly. You can’t budget without accurate numbers, and that’s what we provide.
Monthly Reporting:
You will know how your business performed each month by the end of the following month, as well as quarterly, six month, and yearly comparisons. We analyze your business performance and communicate any outliers, improvements, and areas of opportunity.
Budgeting:
It is important to have a budget and to also use it! We can help you with building your budget and use that as part of your monthly reporting. You will always see how you’re comparing to your set budget and so you can readjust as the year progresses.
Historical Clean-up of Accounts:
Get your books caught up back to the beginning of the calendar year so you can have all the information you need for tax time. This includes the full bank reconciliation services outlined above, along with reporting so you see how your business performed during that time period.
Electronic Receipt Management:
No more storing receipts in a shoebox! We partner with ReceiptBank to provide you with a quick and easy way to send me your information, electronically store your receipts and statements, and connect your receipts to the specific transaction in your accounting software.
Payroll:
We will be your partner to facilitate your payroll processes. We work with trusted payroll systems to ensure that you and your employees receive their pay and taxes are paid on time – you won’t have to spend time managing payroll tasks yourself to know that they’re in good hands.
Accounts Receivable and Payable:
Sometimes you just need some help entering your invoices or paying your bills on time. We can help you with both to ensure you get paid on time and so you stay in good standing with your vendors.
